Your quiet teen has so much potential ... so why do they feel so lost when it comes to the future?

Whether they're choosing GCSE subjects, finishing A-levels, or taking their first steps into work or university, quiet teens need space to think, not pressure to conform.

This 1:1 NEXT STEPS coaching programme will help them find clarity, confidence and a direction that actually fits them.

Are you worried about how your quiet teen will navigate the real world?

You want them to feel confident in their choices - whether that's GCSEs, A-levels, college, university or work.

You want them to know what they're good at, believe in themselves, and move forwards with purpose.

But right now, they feel stuck.

They say they "don't know" - to everything

Ask about future plans and all you get is a shrug. Not because they don't care, but because they are overwhelmed and afraid of making the wrong choice.

They don't see their strengths, only their struggles

They second-guess everything. Quiet teens are so often overlooked that they start to believe they have nothing unique to offer.

They're shutting down under the pressure

Every conversation about next steps turns into tears or tension. You want o support them, but it feels like you're pushing them further away.

They're drifting, not deciding.

Deadlines are looming, but there's no clear direction. They're not lazy - you just know they need space, not pressure, to figure it out.

Just imagine if your teen felt excited - not anxious - about their future.

They know their strengths.
Choices feel clearer. Planning feels easier.
They’re focused and moving forward with quiet confidence.

Hello there!

I’m Charlotte: ex-teacher, coach, parent, and quietly determined advocate for teens struggling to find their place in a noisy world.

I help thoughtful, sensitive teens figure out what they want from life before they spend years stuck in paths that don’t suit them.

Why? Because that was me.

I drifted for years after school - jobs that made me anxious, roles that drained me, work that left me unwell and unfulfilled. No one ever asked what lit me up. No one showed me how to match my strengths with real-world paths. It wasn’t until my late 30s - when I found coaching - that I finally started asking better questions.

Now, I help quiet teens ask those same questions sooner - before the overwhelm, before the burnout, before the decades of detours.

I’ve raised two quiet, creative teens of my own. Both hated school. Both have stepped off the academic treadmill and into the creative industries, doing work that energises them and reflects who they truly are.

And I didn’t get them there by pushing harder.

I stepped back. I tuned in. I helped them understand their own wiring - what they’re good at, what excites them, and what doesn’t.

Now, I do the same for other families.

Whether your teen is 14 or 18, this is the moment to pause, breathe, and build something better.
Not a five-year plan. Not a pressure-filled to-do list. But a deeper understanding of who they are, what drives them, and how to move forward with calm, quiet clarity.

By asking the right questions now, you can save them years - decades - of confusion, stress, and soul-sapping work.

A structured, strengths-based approach changed everything for my quiet teens.

They went from uncertain and overwhelmed to motivated, focused, and clear on what comes next.

Using my QUIET framework, I can help your teen to do the same!

What have parents said?

My daughter now approaches the future with confidence, is much happier in herself and has tools to use which will be invaluable in the years ahead.

Charlotte's coaching has been gentle and kind but powerful and effective, helping my daughter reframe the future from a daunting prospect to an exciting adventure.

It was amazing how quickly Charlotte was able to understand what's important to our son which meant the advice she gave was relevant and easy to apply.

Here's what your teen will get inside the programme:

  • A calm, compassionate space to think clearly. No pressure, no overwhelm - just time to breathe and make sense of what they want.

  • Someone who truly sees their strengths.

I’ll reflect back what they might not yet see in themselves, so they can start believing it too.

  • A structured approach that still feels personal. Gentle guidance through each step, so they stay grounded and focused without being pushed.

  • A listening ear (that isn't Mum or Dad).

Sometimes the biggest shift happens when they feel safe to open up without fear of judgement.

  • Gentle challenge to move them forward

Encouragement when they need it - and a nudge when they are ready to stretch.

  • Accountability that builds confidence

Regular check-ins to help them stay on track.

  • Tangible results to set them up for their future

A clear plan, a real goal and visible progress they can actually feel happening.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will this actually work for my teen, especially if they’re unmotivated, anxious, or unwilling to engage right now?

The honest answer is no. This programme isn’t the right fit if your teen is currently unwilling to engage.

Even if your teen feels anxious, uncertain, or overwhelmed (which is perfectly normal), they do need to be willing to take small steps forward with your support.

This programme isn’t about forcing, pushing, or persuading a reluctant teen. It’s about empowering teens who are ready (even if they're nervous!) to try a new way of working, building confidence, and discovering what they’re truly capable of.

If you’re unsure whether this is the right time, I warmly invite you to book a free 30-minute insight call with me. We can talk through your situation, and I’ll give you honest, tailored advice, even if that means recommending a different path for now.

Ultimately, for this to work, your teen needs to want the support, even just a little bit. That tiny spark of willingness is all we need to begin.

Is this suitable if my teen has no idea what they want to do yet?

Yes, this programme is especially for teens who feel lost, unsure, or overwhelmed about what comes next.

Your teen doesn’t need a five-year plan or a dream job in mind to start. In fact, trying to choose a future without first understanding who they are is often what leads to stress and confusion.

We begin by exploring their personality, values, interests, and natural strengths - things they may never have been asked to consider before. From there, we gently build awareness of what energises them, what environments they’ll thrive in, and what paths are worth exploring.

By the end of the programme, they won’t just have ideas - they’ll have a clearer sense of direction, a realistic next step, and the confidence to pursue it..

What’s the difference between this and careers advice at school?

School careers advice often focuses on ticking boxes - UCAS applications, apprenticeship options, CVs and deadlines. While that’s helpful, it usually skips the most important step: getting to know your teen as a whole person first.

This programme is different.

We start with who your teen is - their personality, strengths, values, and how they actually work best. Then we look at how those things connect to real-world options. It’s not about forcing them to fit a path, but helping them find one that fits them.

And unlike the one-off conversations they might get at school, this is consistent, 1:1 support over ten sessions - designed for quiet teens who need space to think, time to process, and a safe, non-judgemental place to figure things out..

What if my teen is older - 18 or 19 - and not in education anymore?

Yes, the programme can still be a perfect fit.

Many older teens and young adults feel just as lost when school ends, especially if they haven’t yet found a clear path. Whether your teen is considering uni, taking a gap year, stuck in a job that doesn’t feel right, or just unsure what comes next, this programme can help them make sense of where they are and what direction to take.

It’s never too late to pause, reflect, and choose a path that actually suits who they are, not just what’s expected of them.

Will I be involved as a parent, or is it just for my teen?

You’ll absolutely be involved, but in a way that supports your teen’s independence rather than undermines it.

This programme is designed to be teen-led, and I create a safe space where they can reflect openly, without pressure. That said, your support is key, and you’ll be gently included throughout:

A parent onboarding call at the start so you can share insights and understand the process

Midway and final updates with bullet-point summaries of progress and goals

Confidentiality is respected - any deeper work around blocks, anxieties or past experiences stays private unless your teen agrees to share it or there’s a safeguarding concern.

This balance allows your teen to build trust, autonomy, and confidence, while you stay informed and empowered to support them at home.

What if I’m struggling to let go or facing conflict at home?

That’s incredibly common and you’re not alone. This stage of parenting can be emotionally intense, especially if your teen is pulling away, shutting down, or making choices that you find hard to understand.

If you’re feeling stuck, I offer individual parent coaching sessions at £150 per hour. These are designed to help you:

- Understand what’s in your influence (and what’s not)

- Set healthy boundaries without pushing your teen away

- Reduce conflict and strengthen communication

- Let go in a way that feels respectful and steady, not like you’re abandoning them.

Just like your teen, you deserve support too. Coaching can give you the tools to navigate this phase with more confidence, calm, and clarity.
